Marshall Land Systems is seeking a Paint and Assembly Fitter to join our team in Moncton, NB. Reporting to the Supervisor, Components and Assembly, the Paint and Assembly Fitter will be responsible to provide flexible support to both paint and assembly departments. Your responsibilities in this role: Paint Department: - Responsible for prep work on containers and components including but not limited to: - Masking, taping, sanding, and blasting, as appropriate. - Under supervision, may mix paint, in accordance with paint manufacture’s specifications. - Under supervision, may assist with paint application. - Work in accordance with paint shop procedures (Housekeeping and good working practices). - Application of stencils. Assembly Department: - Install components and panels into deployable shelters. - Provide suggestions and input to resolve any unexpected issues or challenges. - Fitting of machined parts, sheet metal brackets, pipework, pumps and valves to deployable shelters using hand and power tools. - Operate electric powered mobile equipment. - Participate in continuous improvement activities. - Record materials used and time taken on the electronic job tracking system. - Adher...
