Accounting & Finance Assistant

Job description

We are looking for an Accounting & Finance Assistant to join the finance department of our company operating in the logistics and transportation industry, based in Istanbul , supporting accounting and finance processes. Your Responsibilities: - Record and control daily accounting transactions in the system, - Support month-end closing activities, - Assist with bank reconciliation processes, - Process and control vendor invoices (carriers, agents, transporters, etc.), - Verify invoices against shipment files, rate agreements, and supporting documents, - Support vendor and customer account reconciliations and follow up discrepancies, - Issue customer invoices related to freight forwarding and logistics services, - Coordinate with operations and sales teams for shipment-based billing processes, - Monitor and report costs related to logistics operations, - Support the preparation of financial reports, - Assist in internal and external audit processes, Your Profile: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, - 1–4 years of experience in accounting and finance, - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes, - Experience w...
