Summary: The Tax Accountant is a vital member of Simplot’s Tax Department, contributing to the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Simplot’s tax compliance and reporting processes. This position is responsible for preparing detailed workpapers to support tax compliance, preparing federal and state income tax returns, and assisting in the income tax provision process. Additional duties include monitoring tax law, researching tax issues, responding promptly to tax notices, and performing other tax-related responsibilities assigned.
