Salary Range: $20.45 - $32.93/Hour Purpose of Classification: The purpose of this classification is to perform plumbing installation, maintenance, and repairs in County buildings and facilities. Essential Functions: The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned. Maintains plumbing equipment and systems; and installs, maintains, extends and alters all piping, fixtures, plumbing appliances and plumbing appurtenances, in connection with sanitary drainage, vent systems, and public or private water supply systems. Installs, repairs or replaces various pipes, fittings and fixtures of water systems, drainage systems, and plumbing systems according to specifications and local, state and federal plumbing codes and regulations; performs skilled plumbing duties on water heaters, sinks, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, water filters, grease traps, showers, water pumps, ice machines, etc. Diagnoses and repairs plumbing problems...
