Job description

Overview The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the security of the warehouse/distribution center and the things and people in it. The goal of this position is to detect, deter, observe, and report. Responsibilities/Qualifications: The Security Guard key responsibilities include: - Using and monitoring surveillance/camera equipment. - Keeping a record of all visitors including the time of arrival and departure. - Patrolling the premises regularly to ensure nothing is out of place. - Performing scheduled and random checks of designated areas throughout the facility to check for any security breaches. - Assisting the maintenance staff in security an area during a maintenance emergency. - Protecting the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment. - Responding to alarms within the warehouse. - Observing and reporting suspicious activities and persons. - Coordinating with law enforcement in the case of suspected or reported criminal activity. - Following directions of supervisor and manager. - Assisting with compliance of company, local, state, and federal safety directives. - Answering the phone and tracking all yard management services (truc...
