Job Title: Lab Analyst I Reports To: Lab Manager: Job Summary: The Laboratory Analyst I is an entry-level analyst position responsible for supporting routine laboratory operations under supervision. This role involves preparing reagents and standards, performing basic analyses, maintaining instruments, and documenting results in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). The Analyst I contributes to the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory workflows while developing foundational technical skills and knowledge. Essential Functions: - Performs laboratory operations, including preparation, analysis, quantification of chemicals; prepares standards and samples for analysis, including quality control samples, and reports final results; analyses include: microbiology, biochemical oxygen demand, alkalinity, chlorine, total suspended solids, nitrite, etc. - Documents work performed; maintains laboratory notebooks, recordings, software data, etc. for raw data, standard preparations, and equipment - Ability to prepare samples using manual, automated, and instrumental methods utilizing in-house Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) - Performs routine daily, weekly, and monthly mainte...
