Department: LIFE Center: Shift/schedule: Contingent (Works as needed): GENERAL SUMMARY: The lifeguard works under the supervision of the Wellness Operations Manager. The Lifeguard's primary job is to provide a safe and high quality environment for members and patients while being prepared and able to respond to life threatening saving situations. The lifeguard is responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness and safety of all who are present in the aquatic areas. Education: Licensure: Experience: - Basic Literary Skills required - Lifeguard certification required - BLS/AED for the professional rescuer within 90 days of hire required - Previous experience as a Lifeguard preferred JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: The following is a summary of the major job duties of this job.
