Job Overview & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PeopleSoft Functional Consultant to lead the implementation of the General Ledger module for a federal government agency. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in the PeopleSoft GL module and possess a deep understanding of federal financial business processes and reporting requirements. This role requires exceptional functional expertise, a strong grasp of the full implementation lifecycle, and a commitment to ensuring all deliverables meet strict federal policies and standards. Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead the full lifecycle implementation of the PeopleSoft GL module, from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment. - Conduct comprehensive fit/gap analysis to align federal business needs with PeopleSoft GL functionality. - Configure the PeopleSoft system to meet the client's needs, including setup tables, business units, and other module-specific configurations. - Configure GL components including: Chart of Accounts, Ledgers and Ledger Groups, Journal processing, Journal edit and approval workflows, Open period updates, Allocation rules, Closing rules and calendar set...
