What you can expect as an Avionics Maintenance Technician at West Star: Our Avionics Maintenance Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing problems to the component level on avionics units (i.e. Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio and Autopilot Systems), as well as the aircraft systems. Scheduled Shift: Thursday - Saturday, every other Wednesday; 1800 to 0600 You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including: - Perform general avionics support items on aircraft. This shall include, but not be limited to items such as removal and installation of panels and components and repair work. - Troubleshooting and evaluation of systems on the aircraft when designated. - Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated. - Aircraft movement and performance verification o...
