Head of Property & Terrorism UK&I

Job description

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the delivery of the UK/I Property and Terrorism & Terrorism plan, both from a written premium and a profitability perspective. Written premium includes Property and Terrorism income derived from all UKI Property and Terrorism monoline, package and Industry Practices policies and will therefore require engagement across all areas in which Property and Terrorism is written. The requires close interaction with product line (COG) management and regional/branch managers to ensure appetite is understood and communicated, and underwriters are appropriately empowered to meet plan. Working closely with regional managers, a key function is to ensure that rate, retention and new business numbers are planned and forecast accurately and that monthly production targets are met. Delivery and execution of the financial plan is a critical responsibility for this role. Also that accurate data is input into the annual planning process.
