Job Description: Your impact The role of a Sub-Contract Manager at Leonardo offers a wide variety of experiences and is both exciting and challenging in its nature. This role in particular represents a unique opportunity for a high calibre candidate to thrive within the GCAP Programme, which is an area of significant growth within the business. This role will involve actively working in a matrix organisation structure supporting a variety of complex assignments, with a focus on development of a next generation supply chain which is capable of supporting current development activity and future production. The focus for this role will be the management of high value and high-risk sub-contract commitments for emerging requirements. An ability to engage with key IPT stakeholders - in particular Project Management and Engineering, is key to the success of the Programme. The successful candidate should also have an ability to act as the functional interface with FCA and other GCAP IPTs across the UK business, to share knowledge and best practice, and to co-ordinate key procurement activities to bring about consistent processes and leverage economies of scale.
