Up to a $25,000 Sign On Bonus. The pay range for this role is $40.25-62.59. Position Summary: The Supervisor, Nursing represents hospital and nursing administration in their absence and participates in Nursing Department leadership, education and research activities. The Supervisor, Nursing serves as a clinical resource for nurses and assists in the interpretation of policies and procedures to all hospital personnel. Education, License & Certification: - RN license to practice in the State of New York - BSN required within 3 years Essential Functions: Actively strives for patient satisfaction. Confers with leadership team and professional staff to enhance delivery of nursing care. Fulfill professional role expectations and requirements. Participates in risk management and crisis intervention. - Communicates with patient, family and healthcare providers regarding patient care demonstrating strong communication skills. - Serves as an advocate for patients and family in the clinical management of care. - Assumes a collaborative role in staffing and scheduling of personnel, considering appropriate utilization of personnel considering scope of practice, competencies, patient needs and c...
