Job Description Location: 2300 Powell Avenue Erie, PA 16506 Direct Report: Tooling Supervisors: Purpose: Perform high-precision CNC machining of hardened tool steels to achieve final geometry and tolerances. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Set up and operate CNC milling machines for hardened materials Create, load, and adjust CNC programs Monitor tool wear and performance: Maintain dimensional accuracy: Authorities (including, but not limited to): Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets Stop production for tool or quality issues Recommend tooling strategies: Primary Duties (including, but not limited to): Program and set up machines, robots, and pallets Machine hardened components (cores, cavities, etc.) Perform in-process inspections: Change tooling and offsets as needed Document production and inspection results: Qualifications/Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of hard mill CNC machining experience Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience machining hardened steels (50+ HRC) Knowledge of high-speed machining strategies: Experience with 3- and 5-axis CNC machines Possession of a valid Journeymen’s license Records: CNC programs and revisions I...
