JOB SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing and evaluating the delivery of care for patients in the Cardiovascular Lab; correlating the nursing process according to the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and following Cardiovascular Lab standards and protocol. Prep and recover outpatient and circulate during procedures. Scrub with physicians during procedures. Schedule: Flexible scheduling, on call weekends, vary, on call for holidays, rotating schedule. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: § Holds an active Registered Nurse license and is eligible to practice in the state of Kentucky. § Current certification BLS, ACLS and PALS. Minimum Work Experience: § 1 year experience in Cardiovascular Lab or 2 years’ experience in CCU/ICU/ER/Telemetry Required Skills: § Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
