JOB SUMMARY: The Principal Transformer Engineer provides consulting services to the electric power industry. These services include transformer consulting, transformer condition analysis studies, transformer design review, and factory inspections. In addition to these diverse services, Doble GPS provides high level technical training through their industry leading seminars that include the Life of a Transformer. This role is a remote-based position which will require an adequate and separate workspace at the successful candidate’s home. This role will report to the Director of Transformer Consulting Services. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work assigned which include but is not limited to: - Transformer Factory Inspections - Transformer Factory Audits - Transformer Specification Creation and Reviews - Transformer and Reactor Design Reviews - Independently coordinates the work to be performed for Condition Assessment studies by different Doble departments.
