This is a 2 credit precepted clinical course running 5/5/2025 through 8/15/2025. This is a precepted clinical. You will have to accompany students to their clinical site every Friday and arrange experiences for them in collaboration with the lead clinical faculty. Course Description : Synthesis of nursing and public health science, focusing on maintenance of optimal levels of health and wellness among individuals, families, groups and aggregates in community settings. Introduction to epidemiology principles, with emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion among population groups. In clinical experiences in varied community settings, students apply synthesized knowledge and practice nursing skills essential in caring for a community’s health. Theory/clinical.
