JOB CATEGORY: EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION / HOME VISITING / FAMILY SUPPORT / DEVELOPMENT POSITION SUMMARY: This position provides case management, family advocacy and education to families in assigned caseload by providing and linking families to comprehensive services including home visits and socialization activities. Works with typically and atypically developing children and their families in a home based setting. May be reassigned to different caseload/geographic location within a county as deemed necessary for program operation. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: - High school diploma / GED and an Infant Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (with Home Visitor endorsement preferred) or a Preschool CDA with Home Visitor endorsement, or New Mexico Child Development Certificate (CDC), or equivalent required; OR - One year certificate in Early Childhood Education; OR - AA/AAS degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Family Studies, Social Work, or related field.
