Job DetailsJob Location: CTC Global - Irvine, CA 92614Salary Range: $69,613.00 - $90,919.00 Salary/yearSUMMARY: Sets-up and operates/runs various testing frames and testing programs, and performs inspections, tests, and gathers data on composite core, conductor, hardware, etc. for the development of new tests or procedures, product characterization, or to determine conformance to accepted specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform testing on various samples of core, conductor, tools, and equipment for quality and for experimental purposes. Observes and pays attention to machine and core in order to detect and prevent possible malfunctions (audible and visual). Responsible for alerting supervisors of anything unusual. Read and interpret gauges, record measurements and observations, and accurately complete process logs according to specifications. Sets up and operates various test machines. Reviews project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesigns, substitution of materials or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies.
