AVTECH Global is looking for an Upholstery Tech II in Savannah, GA. Shift: Second (15:30 to 02:00); other shifts may be available Pay Rate: $25.66 per hour: Job Type: Full-time, Contract: Contract Duration: 12 months (w/opportunity for extension) Benefits: Experience/Education: Purpose: Under minimal supervision fabricate and install upholstery, cover panels, and make simple patterns for aircraft interiors using design/engineering drawings and aircraft specifications. - coverage of up to one-half of employee's medical insurance premium for a base plan - eight (8) paid holidays - per diem split (if qualified) - three (3) sets of uniforms (if applicable) - opportunity to become a direct hire after ninety (90) days - High School Diploma/GED. - Two (2) years experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers and/or various hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades. - Experience in aerospace industry preferred. - Participation in a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program is required.
