Job Summary: The Respiratory Therapist Assistant assists the Respiratory Therapists, as needed, in routine limited, patient contact assignments/discharge planning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the below. Other duties may be assigned. *Cleans and disinfects, equipment used in administration of respiratory therapy. *Maintains and monitors use of oxygen for patients under the direction of Respiratory Care Practitioners. *Maintains all respiratory therapy equipment for set up and readiness.
