City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview: Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Cath, Vascular, and IR Lab department (CVIS). Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Qualified candidates! Hours: 7:00am to 4:30pm working four 9.5-hour shifts per week. Will be required to take call. Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will float, monitor, scrub and have the opportunity to work with the following procedures: diagnostic caths, interventions, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Left/Right heart caths, cardioversions, Transesophageal echo, vascular angiograms, vascular thrombectomies, sacroplasties, gastric tubes, nephrostomy tubes, etc. The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
