Description The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong are recruiting for an academic pediatric pulmonologist to join the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center. We seek a candidate with strong clinical skills and an interest in clinical research and program development. The position's duties include providing clinical care, teaching, assisting in the administration of clinical programs, and supporting the research mission of the Division and the University. Protected research time is available depending on the applicant’s interests and the division's needs. The Division operates a fully accredited CF Center and is a CF Foundation Therapeutics Development Network member. The CF Center has been awarded a Quality Award from the CF Foundation for two consecutive cycles. We are the only center in New York State, outside of NYC, that is part of the Children’s Interstitial and Diffuse Lung Disease Network (chILD). We also have growing programs in Severe Asthma, Aerodigestive, Neuromuscular Disease, and Complex Clinics, where we see many technology-dependent children. Clinical resources include...
