The Health Information Specialist in this position reports to the Operations and Management Consultant Manager SES and works closely with all medical records activities. The Health Information Specialist performs specialized clerical work, which requires independent decision-making. Incumbent handles protected health information on a need-to-know basis following Department of Health Information Security and Privacy Policy procedures.
