RN Long Term Care Educator – CNA Training Instructor Living Center South – Geneva, NY Finger Lakes Health | Full-Time Mon-Fri Days. Finger Lakes Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as the Educator and Instructor for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program. This position teaches 4-week CNA classes held 7 times per year at Living Center South in Geneva, NY. The RN Educator provides both classroom and clinical instruction to support the development of high-quality long-term care staff. Responsibilities: Teach and supervise CNA students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and skills demonstrations. Evaluate student progress and maintain required documentation. Ensure compliance with New York State training requirements. Support new CNAs and long-term care staff with ongoing education and competency assessments. Model excellent customer service, professionalism, and the principles of a Healing Environment. Qualifications: Education: Required: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing (RN). Preferred: BSN or willingness to pursue.
