Description Job Overview: - The Site Construction Equipment Operator position is responsible for the following: - Operating heavy equipment to lift, move, or place equipment or materials - Driving equipment and vehicles (including tri-axle dump trucks) between sites - Performing basic duties associated with operating heavy equipment and vehicles Responsibilities and Duties: - Operate various construction machines and vehicles: Bulldozers, Crawlers, Skid Loaders, Excavators, Backhoes, Tri-Axle Dump Trucks, Work Vans, etc. in a safe and appropriate manner - Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and perform regular maintenance and minor repairs when necessary - Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment - Perform general construction and maintenance duties including, but not limited to, framing, finishing, underground utilities, final gradings, storm water management, sewer systems, pipe and shovel work, snow removal, etc Requirements: Competencies: - High School diploma or GED - Relevant experience preferred with operating heavy equipment - Familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices - Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License - Employment is...
