Job Title: Advanced IP Scientist (m/f/d) Summary: The Advanced IP Scientist (m/w/d) serves as a key point of contact to support and consult on Momentive’s Intellectual Property (IP) information and process management. Furthermore, the Advanced IP Scientist (m/w/d) supports generating strategic IP insights for European market. The incumbent (m/w/d) will engage in liaising with inventors, IP Team and outside counsels to facilitate creation and maintenance of Intellectual Property rights. This position will report to Senior IP Scientist based in Leverkusen. Responsibilities Include: 1. IP information and process management: - Use IP Management (IPM) tool for collaborative invention reviews and provide training for using the tool, utilize the IPM tool for facilitating patent filing and patent life cycle management - Responsible for responses to patent office actions in collaboration with inventors and communicating directly with external patent law firms - Track the patent office actions for MPM GmbH for response deadlines and timely information of the inventors within Europe and the corresponding IP team member incl.
