Job description

The Director of Faculty Experience Initiatives supports faculty lifespan processes and programs spanning hiring, onboarding, retention, belonging, and thriving. Working under the direction of the Associate Provost for Faculty Excellence and Mission Integration, the Director provides implementation, coordination, assessment, and sustained follow-through across initiatives related to mission-aligned and equity-minded hiring; teacher-scholar engagement with mission; and faculty well-being and thriving. Grounded in LMU’s Catholic, Jesuit, and Marymount traditions, this position advances the University’s commitments to equity, justice, and the common good through the accompaniment of faculty across career stages via programs, support structures, and engagement initiatives. The Director collaborates closely with the Center for Faculty Development, the Office of Mission Engagement, college and department leadership, and Institutional Research and Decision Support.
