Patient Navigator (RN) - Oncology Infusion - ( 2602622 ) Description The Oncology Infusion Nurse Navigator serves as a central coordinator and patient advocate, guiding individuals through the complexities of cancer treatment by facilitating timely access to infusion therapies, providing comprehensive education, managing care across multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patients clinically and emotionally to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes throughout the continuum of care. - Care coordination - Patient education - Clinical Assessment and Monitoring (labs/symptoms) - Throughput for Authorization of services - Communication to the multidisciplinary team Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing - Three (3) years of previous clinical RN nursing or RN patient navigator experience Licenses, Registrations or Certifications Required: - BLS - Current RN license or valid permit to practice professional nursing in Texas - Certification in nursing specialty Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Certified Nurse (willing to obtain within first year of employment) - 2+ years of oncology experience Job Summary: The Patient Navigator guides patients through the he...
