We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join a research project at the intersection of applied thermodynamics, carbon capture, and advanced computational modeling. The project focuses on developing next-generation methodologies for understanding and optimizing amine-based CO₂ capture systems using a combination of thermodynamic modeling, process systems engineering, and data-driven approaches. A key aspect of the project is the integration of first-principles thermodynamic models with system-level analysis, including dynamical behavior, stability, and performance of complex absorption processes. The work will involve combining physical insight with advanced mathematical and computational tools, as well as exploring emerging solvent systems and their integration with energy-efficient process concepts.
