Department Overview The Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center (HTC) is home to over 45 faculty and staff, engaged in the clinical, research, public health, outreach and education missions. The HTC is a multidisciplinary center, providing comprehensive care to adult, adolescent and pediatric patients. Function/Duties of Position: This position is responsible for providing the services of a licensed pharmacist within the HTC. The pharmacist specializes in caring for patients of all ages with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders in an ambulatory/outpatient pharmacy setting. The pharmacist in this role actively participates in patient visits, provides direct patient care, and collaborates closely with prescribers and the interdisciplinary clinic team. Responsibilities include medication therapy management, ensuring that prescribed treatments are appropriately coordinated and optimized to meet the needs of each patient. This position also participates in prescription verification, dispensing, and other outpatient pharmacy functions to ensure the safe and accurate distribution of medications.
