For Internal Use Only About the Position: The Logistics Specialist supports Power Design’s shipping and transportation operations by coordinating carrier logistics, dispatching deliveries, and maintaining communication with project teams. This role ensures efficient, cost-effective, and accurate material movement through proactive problem-solving, route optimization, and attention to detail. Position Responsibilities: - Coordinate shipments and deliveries between warehouse, job sites, and external carriers. - Select cost-effective shipping methods and negotiate with carriers to optimize performance. - Manage routing, load consolidation, and tracking to ensure timely delivery. - Maintain accurate shipping and logistics documentation, including bills of lading and route reports. - Collaborate with supervisors and site teams to align logistics with operational priorities. - Input data into Transportation Management Software (TMS) and monitor accuracy. - Maintain positive relationships with drivers, carriers, and internal stakeholders. - Uphold Power Design’s standards of professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction.
