QUALTIY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Job description

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): - Perform daily concrete tests. - Check all concrete members against fabrication drawings before and after casting per established required tolerances. - Document product status by recording and summarizing preliminary, in-process and finished product data. - Ensure products are manufactured to meet specifications. - Other duties as directed by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: - Good math, record keeping and problem-solving ability. - Computer spreadsheet experience preferred. - Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary. - Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided. - Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs. approx. 10 to 15 times per day and on occasion more depending on duties required. - Ability to work overtime. - Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required. - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen. - Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers. - Reliable Attendance is a must!
