Performs all aspects of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography on all patient populations, as appropriate. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Assists physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath. Lab. 2. Performs post procedure care/groin management including arterial and venous sheath removal. 3. Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on radiologic equipment. 4. Maintains supply inventory. 5. Other duties as assigned Minimum Education: - Graduate of an Accredited CVT School with RCIS certification (or obtaining within 1-year of hire) OR licensed Radiology Technologist. - Radiology Technologists will be provided a six month training and support. - To provide a safe environment for our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. License/Certification: - Minimum 1-2 years previous Cath Lab experience preferred. - RCIS/RCVT experience required OR licensed Radiology Technologist.
