Job description

Job Summary Aptive seeks a Biomedical Technician / Equipment Support Specialist – Information Systems to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under the Biomedical Engineering Technical Professional Support Services (BETPSS) program. The role supports the operation, sustainment, integration, and troubleshooting of clinical information systems and networked medical technologies used across VA medical centers. The selected candidate will provide technical support for clinical information systems and device integrations including systems such as MUSE Cardiology Information System, Intensive Care Unit Clinical Information Systems (ICU‑CIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and other network‑connected diagnostic and therapeutic platforms. The specialist will ensure these systems operate reliably, securely, and in compliance with VA biomedical engineering and cybersecurity requirements.
