What The Role Is Reporting to the Region Manager, the Wind Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations at the Ocotillo Wind Farm. What You'll Be Doing: - Accountable for the safe and compliant operation of an CEG wind farm installation. - Responsible for monitoring, upkeep, and reporting of plant performance. - Create an annual operating plan and provide input on an annual budget. - Set direction and measure operational performance of staff and site contractors. - Primary contact for issue resolution in performance and land utilization issues. - Local point of contact for land owners, local authorities and state agencies regarding environmental and contractual issues involving wind farm installations. - Participate in contract negotiations with sub contractors and other vendors for parts and services required for wind power installations for site. - Possess the ability to climb and necessary skills to troubleshoot wind turbines at a high level. - Perform Operation and switching of high voltage equipment using approved switching orders. - Possess the necessary skills to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair substation and collection system malfunctions. - Coordin...
