Nursing Faculty Development Specialist Rasmussen University Romeoville, IL The Nursing Faculty Development Specialist ensures the pre-licensure nursing program exhibits the attributes of a highly successful nursing program that delivers completion rates and NCLEX pass rates (program outcomes) at or above 90%. Adhering to the mission of the School of Nursing, the Nursing Faculty Development Specialist is expected to provide training to ensure faculty have the teaching skills and expertise to cultivate a learning environment to develop students’ knowledge, skills, attitudes, and clinical judgment. The Nursing Faculty Development Specialist works with pre-licensure administrators and faculty providing continuous training to ensure program quality evidenced by program outcomes consistently achieving the identified desired levels. The Nursing Faculty Development Specialist works collaboratively with the campus nursing administrator and faculty to identify faculty training needs.
