Group Design Leader

ALTEN Sweden is now looking for a Group Design Leader. As a Group Design Leader (GDL), you will play a critical role in leading and coordinating hardware design and ECU (Electronic Control Unit) development for advanced vehicle systems, with a focus on alarm, tailgate, charge lid, locks, doors, and tow hitches. Your role As a Group Design Leader (GDL), you will play a key role in leading and coordinating design work, driving technical solutions and managing requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will: Take ownership of hardware components (ECU, electrical hardware, E/E architecture) and lead design activities from concept to production. Balance technical complexity, costs, and timelines in demanding projects, with a focus on ISO16750 standards and functional safety. Coordinate cross-functionally with development, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure smooth processes and high quality. Manage significant cost responsibilities, ensuring both technical and business objectives are met. Oversee technical documentation, requirements management, and supplier coordination using tools such as Teamcenter, Planisware, and Careaver/Systemweaver. Your profile Previous e...
