Classification Title: Ast, Aso, or Full Professor Job Description: The Department of Biostatistics and the Department of Epidemiology have launched a joint search under the Neuroscience Initiative and invite applications for up to three full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month tenured or tenure track open rank faculty positions. The successful candidates will be part of an academic community that prioritizes innovation, creativity, and collaboration. The University of Florida has significant breadth and depth in neuroscience research. This includes, for example, research in neuro- and neuromuscular imaging, movement disorders, spinal cord injury and stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, and neurorehabilitation. Focus is now being placed on leveraging the existing strengths of UF to recruit faculty in biostatistics and epidemiology who can serve as neuroscience principal investigators and collaborators. There is a tremendous need for faculty who can perform epidemiological/clinical epidemiology/biostatistics studies in neurosciences.
