CNC Machinist & Programmer – Lathe/Mill Operations Pay: Starts at $27.00/hour (higher based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Overtime: Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (average ~56 hours/week) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience to support precision manufacturing operations. This role involves programming, setup, and operation of CNC equipment to produce high-quality components used in industrial applications. You will work closely with shop leadership to ensure production goals, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements - Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines - Develop and edit G-code using control systems such as Fanuc, Haas, Fagor, or Heidenhain - Machine components to tight tolerances (up to 0.0005") with consistency and accuracy - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) - Verify that parts meet all specifications and quality requirements - Follow all safety procedures within a machining envi...
