Staff Accountant Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters (Hybrid): Are you looking to launch or grow your career in accounting? Merchants Fleet is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, cash reconciliation, and process improvements, while collaborating across departments to support the company’s financial health. What You’ll Do: - Ensure accurate documentation and integrity of financial transactions - Manage daily cash reconciliations for multiple bank accounts - Support month-end close and financial reporting, including account analysis and reconciliations - Provide audit support and prepare schedules for annual financial audits - Assist with cashflow forecasting and treasury-related reporting - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency - Work with large data sets and system integrations to ensure accurate financial results What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA a plus) - 0–3 years of experience in public or private accounting - Knowledge of GAAP (Lease Accounting experience a plus) Skil...
