Job DetailsJob Location: Hussey Seating - North Berwick, ME 03906Job Category: Administrative/ClericalPOSITION OVERVIEW: The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the measurement, monitoring, and feedback associated with the quality of raw materials, components, assemblies and products. The Quality Assurance Technician will also assist Quality Engineers in the design of quality systems, processes and procedures to ensure that products meet required standards and specifications. This position will focus on ensuring the quality of products manufactured in-house as well as from suppliers. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspecting, testing, sampling, and sorting products or goods either manufactured or purchased (in-process and finished products). Developing, organizing, and maintaining accurate inspection and testing records. Completing start-up 1st piece inspection for parts manufactured with new or revised tooling and machinery. Completing 1st piece inspections on new and revised product designs. Reviewing first article reports from suppliers Completing capability studies and reports as needed.
