General Purpose and Scope of the Position: The Assistant Director of Student Accounts reports to the Director of Student Accounts and supports the effective and efficient management of student financial transactions, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and service excellence. This position shares responsibility for the administration of Veteran and Military Benefits (MB) funding, Skills Training Workforce Ready Grant funding, student refund processing, and payment reconciliation. The Assistant Director works closely with the Director to ensure student accounts are managed in adherence to college policies, state and federal regulations, and audit requirements, and collaborates with campus departments to resolve issues and support continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Manage the invoicing, payment processing, refunds, and reconciliation for Veteran and Military Benefits funding and Skills Training Workforce Ready Grant funding. Serve as a point of contact for student refund processing, including posting refund voids, reviewing daily refund reports for errors, and ensuring timely issuance of refunds in accordance with institutional policies.
