Position: Supported Education Programs Instructor Department: Student Success & Engagement: Type of Position: Non-Credit Instructor: Exemption Status: Salaried: Work Schedule, Hours per week: Saturday 12:30-3:00 Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No: Starting Salary Range: $30/hour: Position Summary: Supported Education Programs Instructors teach non-credit specialized instruction seminars for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the CLEAR and CONNECT programs. Responsible for course content development and adaptation to meet diverse learning needs. Responsible for classroom instruction and evaluating student progress including testing, grading and maintaining an interactive Canvas course. Hold weekly office hours and collaborate with peer mentors to support student success. All courses take place face-to-face on the JCCC campus.
