The Colas Group operates internationally in all aspects of transport infrastructure. As part of the global organisation, Colas Ireland is primarily involved the distribution of bitumen products, emulsion and emulsifier manufacturing, and the provision of specialist road maintenance services on the national, regional and local road network. In Ireland Colas operates from 14 locations across the island of Ireland. Purpose of the Role: As Lab Technician, you will test and inspect various road construction materials to ensure they meet or exceed industry standards. You will be responsible for maintaining quality control for Colas Bitumen Emulsions Dublin, overseeing certification and production control, and working closely with colleagues and R&D teams to enhance product quality and support innovation. Main Responsibilities: You will maintain quality control testing for bitumen emulsions and polymer modified bitumen, ensure compliance with TII specifications, calibrate plants and binder distributors, and test raw materials.
