Job Summary: Location Shop Manager Partnering with the Terminal Manager, General Manager, Corporate Maintenance Director, Technicians and other company folks, the Shop Manager leads and oversees all mechanical and maintenance needs of all company vehicles within a designated location. He/she ensures that all STA vehicles are safe and in compliance with all Federal, State and local requirements. Duties/Responsibilities: - Work Week: M-F unless otherwise needed for the business - Salaried Position - Compensation: $78,000-$84,000 - Benefit package explained at interview - Works directly with Terminal Manager in supervising all maintenance staff (including hiring and disciplinary actions). Is responsible for his/her team and will ensure they are operating as a high performing team. - Will coordinate and assist during leaves, will evaluate performance, provide technical training and safety training. - Will checks repair orders, inspect completed work of mechanics and clerks. - Will file completed repair orders and will communicates with Dispatch on the availability of vehicles. - May respond to locations of breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing in the field. - Will assist in the troubles...
