Job Profile Summary Provides support under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. This role demonstrates growing competence across pharmacy technician tasks and begins closely supervised pharmacist learning tasks. This includes Intern I functions as well as sterile compounding, medication reconciliation, medication counseling, support MTM activities, clinical documentation, if applicable. Higher tiers (Intern III) perform advanced counseling, patient and staff education, sterile hazardous compounding, workflow optimization, assist in therapeutic monitoring, immunizations, project work such as medication use evaluations, and supports onboarding of new interns. Job Requirements: Supervisory Responsibilities: No: Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Currently enrolled into an accredited college or school of pharmacy License / Certification Required: proof of enrollment into accredited college or school of pharmacy Minimum Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience; health system pharmacy experience preferred.
