Job description
Our Sanitation Techs are a cornerstone to our success as a plant--both to ensure a safe & clean facility, but also for the advancement of our processes and pushing benchmarks for our Master Sanitation schedule. While this role requires basic cleaning procedures and common plant auditing, ideal candidates will succeed on our team if they enjoy variety and are driven by a sense of accomplishment. We are also looking for team members who bring an open mind for learning and continuous improvement. Must be willing to be boom lift/manlift certified, heights up to 30ft. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Calling for cardboard, trash, plastic, and wastewater Working in a team environment to decrease production downtime - Ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelines are adhered to - Follow cleaning procedures using established benchmarks and SSOPs - Monitor waste water production and reduction - Assist all production areas in sanitation practices - Washing all plant equipment as required. - Ensure compliance with production and industry standards (USFDA, NOP Organic) - Process tasks under the Pest Management Action Plan - Participate in monthly internal plant...
