This is an hourly, part-time position. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Position Summary: Taking direction from the campus librarian, the Library Assistant provides a range of library services in a school library setting.QualificationsQualifications Ability to communicate in effective English with staff, outside firms, etc. in person, by telephone and via email. Minimum one-year experience in a library, school, or bookstore Minimum one-year experience working with groups of children (school, day camp, park district, etc.) Minimum one year of clerical experience High School diploma or equivalent (required) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Instructional Support: Assist in preparation of the library for instruction.
