Production Operator

Job description

Description SUMMARY: This role will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery involved in the production of aluminum cans while adhering to safety, quality, and production standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operate and monitor equipment such as can forming machines, presses, trimmers, liners, and other machinery involved in the can making process. - Inspect finished cans for defects, ensure proper dimensions, and perform quality checks to maintain product quality standards. - Handle raw materials required for can production. Load materials onto machines and monitor material supply throughout the production process. - Set up machines according to production requirements, adjust settings as needed, and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime. - Assist maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks, cleaning equipment, and conducting minor repairs as needed. - Optimize machine performance, minimize waste, and maximize production output while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. - Adhere to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yo...
