Job Details The Surgical Services Attendant performs a variety of service and direct patient care activities related to the care of patients who are undergoing surgery or other procedures, which support the nursing staff in providing quality healthcare to each patient. Direct patient care activities are related to: the transportation and transfer of patients, equipment, supplies and specimens to and from designated areas; positioning of patients based on procedural needs, set up and turnover of procedural suites; the cleanliness and upkeep of all transportation equipment; maintenance of adequate inventory of supplies pertinent to the departmental operation. Job Description: - Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. - Performs a variety of service and patient care activities that support the care team in providing quality healthcare to each patient.
